Katy Perry, fourth studio album | New song preview!


Katy Perry finished the relentless promotion of her latest and third major studio album “PRISM“, released on October 18, 2013 via Capitol Records and also ended the Prismatic World Tour which it has garnered nearly 200 million dollars.

After the huge numbers achieved with her Super Bowl XLIX halftime show, and released “By the Grace of God” as final promotional single from the album, the singer started to work on more new music to delight all her fans in late 2015. Her next and fourth studio album is expected to be released early 2017 via Capitol Records.

According Advance Alternative Media site, Perry registered three new tracks called “She’s So Creepy“, “In Flames” and “Heartache Crusade” early this year. Another track called “Legacy” (alternate title “I’m Threw“) was registered in early May 2015. The song was written by Leon Gober Dorthars.

According to RadioAnMusic, Perry’s manager Steven Jensen gave a brief but exciting update while speaking at the All That Matters music and entertainment conference in Singapore this week. When talking about Perry, Jensen reportedly said, “She plans to release her next album by 2016.”

Perry registered a new track called “Cocodrile Tears” as reponse on her current battle with Taylor Swift. This info was released on Mirror on August 21st last year.

The pop star has recorded a Christmas song called “Everyday Is a Holiday”, which was included as part of H&M Christmas campaign where Katy Perry is the protagonist.

Australian hitmaker confirmed on Twitter that she has worked on a record with Katy Perry on December 8th. Apparently in May 30th, Katy’s Twitter account was hacked an a previously unreleased demo callled “Witness” surfaced online.

In December, she worked in the studio with DJ Locksmith and part of the band Rudimental. The previously confirmed song “Rise” a special song for NBC Olympics was released unexpectedly and exclusively on Apple Music on July 15th.

Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee has confirmed on Complex that he has been working with Katy Perry on her upcoming album. He said:

I wrote this track and she laid it and it’s pretty dope. It sounded pretty dope. She got a lot of style

During a recent interview with ET Canada, Perry has confirmed she has been working with some unexpected producers. She said:

I’m working with a lot of unexpected writers and producers and … that’s bringing out a lot of different things sonically. Even when I was working with my go-to producers, I’d always push them to play me a beat that was reserved for Three 6 Mafia or something like that

During a recent interview with Digital Spy, Jonas Blue has confirmed that he met Katy in LA and a collaboration could be on its way. He said:

I met Katy Perry in LA a few weeks ago, was literally so star struck. I went up to her and I was so star struck, but then she turned round and said she was a massive of my music and would love to work with me. It was a bit weird

The first single from the project is called “Chained to the Rhythm” and it was released on February 10th.

Goldfrapp “Anymore” (Video Premiere)


English electronic duo Goldfrapp is ready to start the promotion of its awaited seventh studio album “Silver Eye“, which is expected to be released on March 31st via Mute Records.

The first official single is called “Anymore“, and received its first play during Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio 6 show on Monday January 23rd.

The music video, which was directed by Stuart Bentley, was finally premiered on Februry 9th.


Nick Jonas, fourth solo studio album | Working with Cass Lowe!


The fourth solo studio album by American recording artist, singer-songwriter and actor Nick Jonas is in the making and it’s expected to be released later this year via Island Records and Safehouse as follow-up to 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated”.

The multifaceted star has been working in the studio with some usual collaborators like Jason Evigan or Mattman & Robin. Recently, he has also worked with Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling British songwriter and record producer Cass Lowe.

The return of Katy Perry is a fact and we must be ready for it! The global pop star is making her anticipated comeback to the music scene with a special performance this Sunday during GRAMMY Awards gala.

According Billboard, she’s performing a brand new song called “Chained to the Rhythm” with some support of Jamaican artist Skip Marley. This exciting new track hit digital stores and streaming services on Friday February 10th.

The atmospherically delicious synthpop gem is influenced by vaporwave movement and it was written by Perry and Skip along Max Martin, Sia Furler and Ali Payami. The same day of the release, the pop diva also unveiled official lyric video directed by Aya Tanimura through Vevo.

Sabrina Carpenter “Thumbs” (Video Premiere)


American singer-songwriter and Disney Channel actress Sabrina Carpenter continues with the promotion of her second studio album “EVOLution“, which was released on October 14th via Hollywood Records.

The next and second official single is the song and fan-favorite track “Thumbs“, which was written by Priscilla Renea and Steve Mac. It’s a pop-flavoured and catchy radio ready instant hit.

The proper music video, which was directed by Hayley Young, was finally premiered through Vevo on February 10th.


Amy Lee “Love Exists” (Single Premiere)


After releasing a debut solo extended play “Recover, Vol. 1“, and after announcing that she is working on new music for the return of Evanescence, Amy Lee has delivered a new solo track to delight all her fans.

The song called “Love Exists” is confirmed as the first taste of the upcoming second volume of “Recover“, and it’s a beautiful and emotional ballad where we can enjoy Lee’s deeply vocals. It’s a cover of the original performed by Francesca Michielin called “L’amore esiste” and launched in 2015.

It was written by Michele Canova, Fortunato Zampaglione, and produced by Guy Sigsworth. “Love Exists” was released on digital retailers and streaming services on February 10th via Sony Music Entertainment.


Alan Walker “Alone” (Restrung) [Single Premiere]


Norwegian deejay and record producer Alan Walker continues his global impact after the success achived with his second consecutive number 1 hit “Sing Me to Sleep”, launched back in June.

The next official single from his career is called “Alone” and it was launched on digital retailers and streaming services on December 2nd via MER Musikk. It includes the uncredited vocals of the one and only Noonie Bao.

The track was written by Walker along Gunnar Greve, Jonnali Parmenius, Jesper Borgen and Anders Froen. A special restrung version of the song was launched on February 10th.

Shaima “Phenomenal” (Single Premiere)


Shaima Mirza is an English emerging singer-songwriter with Pakistani descent based in London who started her musical journey last year with the release of her debut single “Spread the Love“.

Now it’s time to make a proper introduction with her brand new single, instant pop candy “Phenomenal“, which is a scorching electronic pop song, that takes elements of hip-hop, R&B, pop and house with the not so common use of traditional instruments like sitar, Arabic flute and tabla channeling Shaima’s multi-cultural background into her music.

The song was produced by Alex Elliott and it’s another taste of her debut project expected to be released sometime this year. About the song, she said:

It was important that I explored my ethnicity through my music… My music isn’t fusion as such I like to think of it as pop with some chili powder on it

One Direction’s and proud daddy Louis Tomlinson is currently in the studio creating some magic and shaping what will be his anticipated and expected solo debut album, which will be launched sometime next year.

According Capital FM, some sources claim that Louis has in fact signed with Simon Cowell’s Syco. They claimed:

He’s been back in the studio and has been working on some really amazing music. He’s played some to the powers that be at Syco, who are really excited – They think he could be a real success as a solo artist, given his proven ability to write hit records and massive fanbase as part of 1D

Louis has recently collaborated on Steve Aoki’s single “Just Hold On”, which was released on December 10th. Besides, he hass been working in the studio with Skylar Grey and Jason Evigan.


NERVO “In Your Arms” (Video Premiere)


Australian deejays and producers NERVO continues working in the studio on their next and second studio album, which is expected to be released sometime this year as follow-up to 2015’s debut “Collateral“.

A few weeks after debuting their collaboration along SAVI “Forever or Nothing”, Miriam and Olivia have confirmed the upcoming release of their next single called “In Your Arms“.

The song which was written by the sisters along Shwan Askari, was launched on digital retailers and streaming services on February 10th along the premiere of its music video directed by Jaakko Manninen and Beats and Styles.
