The return of American singer-songwriter and actress Lea Michele to the music scene with a fact and we must be ready. The multifaceted artist has started the promotion of her anticipated second studio album called “Places“, which is expected to be released sometime this year via Columbia Records.
The first promotional single from the project is the song “Love Is Alive“, which arrived on digital retailers and streaming services on March 3rd.
This becomes her first proper release since 2014’s debut LP “Louder“. About the song, she told People:
It’s such a special song for me. I wanted a song on the album that represented where I am personally in my life right now, and this song is exactly that. It’s about believing in love and the power and beauty of love. It made me so happy while recording it, and I hope it brings the same light and joy to everyone else as it has for me
The song was written by Chantal Kreviazuk and Nathan Chapman, with a production signed by Xandy Barry.
