Lena “Lost In You” (Single Premiere)


German singer-songwriter and Eurovision diva Lena Meyer-Landrut has finally returned to the music scene and has started the promotion of her upcoming fifth studio album “Gemini“, expected to be launched sometime this year via Polydor, Island Records and Universal Music.

The lead single from the project is the song “Lost In You“, which is a delicious radio-friendly synthpop gem wrapped with a lovely mid-tempo melody and where we can enjoy her dreamy vocals, that recalls somehow to Ellie Goulding.

The song was released on digital retailers and streaming services on Friday, April 14th. It was written by Vincent Stein, Lena Meyer-Landrut, Nico Wellenbrink, Wim Treuner and Konstantin Scherer.

Lost In You” was produced by Beatzarre, Wim and Djorkaeff. It’s a great comeback!

 

Molly Kate Kestner “Prom Queen” (Video Premiere)


Molly Kate Kestner is an American emerging singer-songwriter from Austin, who started her musical journey back in 2014 with the release of her debut single “His Daughter“.

Last year, she signed a big deal with Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group and released her proper major debut single “Good Die Young“, and now it’s time to make a proper introduction with her brand new track “Prom Queen“, which is fantastic.

The song written by herself is an instant radio-ready indie pop piece which reminds somehow to Marina and the Diamonds’ style. It was released on digital retailers and streaming services on February 3rd.

The official music video was finally premiered on her Youtube channel on Wednesday, April 12th.

 

Nick Jonas, fourth solo studio album | Working with Skylar Grey!


The fourth solo studio album by American recording artist, singer-songwriter and actor Nick Jonas is in the making and it’s expected to be released later this year via Island Records and Safehouse as the follow-up to 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated”.

The multifaceted star has been working in the studio with some usual collaborators like Jason Evigan or Mattman & Robin. He has also worked with Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling British songwriter and record producer Cass Lowe, and recently also with American recording artist, singer-songwriter Skylar Grey. Harry Styles “Harry Styles” (Official Album Cover + Tracklist)


Harry Styles” is the upcoming self-titled full-length solo debut album by former One Direction member, singer-songwriter Harry Styles. It’s expected to be released on digital retailers and streaming services on May 12th via Columbia Records.

Harry worked with English multi-platinum-selling songwriter, record producer, singer and composer Gary Go. According Inquisitr, Styles has done some job in the studio with the likes of Ringo Star, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Meghan Trainor, Irish band Kodaline and Ryan Tedder.

According Belfast Telegraph, Styles worked with the likes of Max Martin and Bruno Mars on his first solo project. During the Billboard Power 100 interview with Rob Stinger (Columbia CEO), he was asked about Styles album and he said:

We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready. We obviously want everything to be beautifully done, because we think he’s here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic

The lead single “Sign of the Times” was released on April 7th via Columbia Records and it was produced by Jeff Bhasker. Besides, Styles has crafted a set that recalls the regal high-water mark of ’70s British rock, Bowie and Queen in particular.

DNCE “Kissing Strangers” (featuring Nicki Minaj) [Single Premiere]


American pop band DNCE is about to impact the music scene with a brand new single called “Kissing Strangers“, which is not included on its debut self-titled album.

The song, which includes the guest collaboration of American female rapper Nicki Minaj, is expected to be released on digital retailers and streaming services on April 14th via Republic Records.

For now, it’s not confirmed if it’s the first taste of an upcoming re-release or the lead track of the group’s forthcoming second album.

 

Zara Larsson “So Good” (Official Special Japan Edition Cover + Tracklist)


So Good” is the international debut studio album by Swedish pop star Zara Larsson. It was released on March 17th via Epic Records and TEN Music Group. A special japanese version will be available on May 3rd.

This album arrives after the huge success achieved with her first album “1“, released in nordic countries in 2014, including smash single “Uncover“, Top 3 “Carry You Home“ and Top 10 hit “Rooftop“.

Before the arrival of this second album Larsson also released a first EP in the American market called “Uncover” on January 16, 2015 making her proper introduction release in the States.

The first official single “Lush Life“ was released on June 9, 2015 and it has become in her second number 1 single in Sweden. The second single “Never Forget You“, an amazing collaboration with MNEK was premiered on July 22nd and peaked at number 1 on Swedish single chart, and later released internationally on September 11th.

The singer debuted a new song called “Better You” in acoustic during a surprise concert on the electric bus in Gothenburg, Sweden. Some video to go with it was premiered on September 24th.

During an interview with Idolator, Larsson confirmed she worked in the studio with pop genius Dr. Luke. During an interview with Billboard, Larsson confirmed she worked with Max Martin’s team on this new project. She said:

I worked with so many. Me and MNEK have done a lot of other songs. Me and the Max Martin team. Not Max Martin himself, but hopefully next time. The team is really good. The Monsters & Strangerz, I love them so much. And just a lot of super talented people — R. City, Justin Tranter, so many good people. Whoever you meet, they’re like, “I just wrote a No. 1 for this or that.” Everyone has something to brag about, which is what I would do if I wrote that good songs.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Larsson confirmed that the new album will include even more tracks co-written and produced by MNEK, and also a collaboration with hitmaker Max Martin. She explained the album is a combination of pop-styles:

I do pop. Pop is everything from The Weeknd to Taylor Swift to Beyoncé to Rihanna, [and my album is] a good mix of everything. There are some very soulful songs on there, but also electric dance songs, and also pure pop, darker songs with a trap vibe.

Larsson has also worked with hitmakers Stargate and Charlie Puth. During an interview with Digital Spy, Zara confirmed that in her album every song has been written and produced by a different production team. She said:

It’s coming in September and I’ve been working with a lot of different people (…) I would say every song has different writers and producers, which is very exciting because all of the songs are very different

During a recent Facebook chat, Zara has confirmed that the album is “cool pop” and includes 12 tracks. The singer also collaborated with David Guetta on UEFA Euro 2016’s anthem “This One’s for You”, released on May 13th.

The next and third official single from the album “Ain’t My Fault” was launched on September 2nd. During an interview with NME, Zara revealed the name of some tracks and collaborators on the album. After her performance during The X Factor Australia, Larsson confirmed that the album will be out “early 2017”.

Larsson released a new single called “I Would Like” on November 11th, becoming the fourth official single from the album. The track “So Good” including the collaboration of Ty Dolla $ign was launched as fifth single on January 27th.

During a recent interview with Z100 New York, Larsson confirmed there’s a big collaboration coming in Spring as part as some secret project.

American singer-songwriter, actress and Scream Queens star Lea Michele officially started the recording sessions of her forthcoming second studio album in June this year. This second project called “Places” is scheduled to be released on April 28th via Columbia Records.

This album serves as the follow-up to her debut “Louder“, released on 28 February 2014 including smash single “Cannonball“. During an interview with Marie Claire, Lea confirmed that her new album arrives in 2016, but later she confirmed that the project will arrives in 2017.

The lead single “Love Is Alive“ is expected to be released on March 3rd. About this new project, Lea told People:

This album is really about coming back to my roots and the music and artists that inspired me growing up. Being that I grew up in New York and on Broadway, I wanted this video to be shot at a theater to give the illusion of coming back home

The song “Anything’s Possible” was premiered exclusively on USA TODAY on March 13th. “Run to You” was launched as instant grat along the pre-order on March 31st.
