Another ‘High School Musical‘ star could release new music soon. After Ashley Tisdale, American singer and actress Vanessa Hudgens confirmed she’s currently working in new music to delight all her fans. Yes! Give me another “Sneakernight” b*tch!
Back in 2013, she worked with Rock Mafia in the studio after her successful collaboration entitled “$$$EX“ with the American girl band YLA to promote the film Spring Breakers.
During an interview with Flaunt Magazine, the singer confirmed that she will launch something different. She said:
Probably something that you’re definitely not expecting. This will be empowering. Fun. Majestic
In 2015, Hudgens took on the title role in the new production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s Gigi, which opened at the Kennedy Center from January 16 to February 12, before transferring to Broadway on April 8.
On January 31, 2016, Hudgens starred in the coveted role of Rizzo in Grease: Live, Fox’s live broadcast based on the original Broadway musical. Hudgens dedicated her performance to her father, Greg, who died from cancer one day before the special aired.
In 2017, Hudgens confirmed she has been working in the studio in “something fun”. During a recent interview with FOX 5 News, she announced a “secret” music video has been already filmed.
A first taste of this new era is expected to be released on Friday, April 21st. The song is apparently called “Reminding Me“. For now, there’s some video teaser to go with it!
