British electronic group Clean Bandit continues with the promotion of the anticipated and current untitled second studio album, which is expected to be released sometime in May via Atlantic Records and Warner Music.
The next and third official single is the song “Symphony“, which includes the guest collaboration of Swedish pop star Zara Larsson and it was launched on digital retailers and streaming services on March 17th.
The song is fantastic, and it starts of slowly tempo like previous single “Tears”, then builds into a huge ballad, it’s a huge improvement on their previous 2 smash hits. The song was written by the band’s very own Jack Patterson, Ina Wrolsden, Steve Mac and Ammar Malik and produced by Jack Patterson and Mark Ralph.
“Symphony” also fuses the band’s musicality into an epic dance hit. The naming of the track fittingly references their classically trained beginnings. The song surfaced online one week before its official release after the leak of Larsson’s album on March 9th.
The official music video, which was directed by Grace Chatto and Jack Patterson, was premiered the same day of the single’s release via Clean Bandit’s Youtube channel. An official acoustic version of the song was launched on April 7th.
A special remix made by Dutch hitmaker, producer, and deejay R3hab was launched on May 12th.
