Kuroki Nagisa is resuming her music activities after taking a year off for health reasons.
The singer’s first activity will be a one-man live in Tokyo at TSUTAYA O-EAST on September 24. Another performance in Fukuoka has also been scheduled for October 7.
“For the year since I lost my voice, I have been hoping and longing to return to the music scene. I can finally respond to all my fans who have been encouraging me and waiting patiently,” Nagisa said.
Nagisa has been on hiatus since August of 2016. The singer was diagnosed with pharyngeal dystonia, a condition that causes the muscles in her throat to involuntarily contract, during the middle of April 2016.
Originally, the singer had decided to continue her activities while receiving treatment, but the deterioration of the condition has forced her to take a break.
